3. 2020 Hyundai Grand Starex Engine: Behind The Hood

Grand Starex's driving feel is not appreciated, but the performance and handling are strong points of the pickup truck from Hyundai.

The engine of the car includes 3 options: 2.5-liter TCI with a maximum capacity of 99 horsepower and 226 nm of torque; 2.5 liter CRDi VGT diesel engine with a capacity of 168 hp and 392 Nm of torque; a Euro 6 compliant 2.5 liter CRDi VGT engine can produce 173 hp and 451 Nm of torque.

The manufacturer equips a 5-speed manual transmission for the basic Grand Starex variant. Meanwhile, the high-end variants with CRDi VGT engines will be equipped with a 5-speed H-Matic automatic transmission.

Grand Starex's driving feel is not appreciated, but the performance and handling are strong points of the pickup truck from Hyundai.

With handling, the front suspension of the Starex GLS is fitted with MacPherson with coil springs and rear with five linkages and coil springs system. As a result, the pickup truck is highly stable and can handle most of the road bumps on normal streets.
